CLARKSBURG (Friday, December 3, 2002)
The Harrison County Commission approved a Bridgeport annexation request during a public hearing Monday at the courthouse.
The two tracts of land, totaling 151.717 acres, will be a part of the Charles Pointe development.
Norm Farley, attorney for the city of Bridgeport, noted the land is located near W.Va. 279, with the major portion being owned by Ann's Run Ltd. Liability and the remainder are owned by C.E. Compton Trust.
