BRIDGEPORT – Cubbys Childcare Center, a nationally certified child development center, is building a new facility to be located at Charles Pointe, Bridgeport’s master-planned development. Cubbys has been a child-care provider in Harrison County for a decade.
Jamie Corton, managing partner of Genesis Partners, said Cubbys is an important addition to the community.
Once the Charles Pointe facility is open and operating at full capacity – which co-director Jennifer Trippett projects will happen in early 2007 – the center will employ 32 teachers, plus office and kitchen staff.
Along with Trippett, the center is run by her sisters, Janelle DeMarco and Jeanette Spatafore.
Cubbys is open from 6:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for day-care services, and continues its after school program until 6 p.m.
